4. Check While The Part Is Running

Sometimes, we need to perform quality inspections while processing parts are running in order to find problems early and rework parts before completion. Some operations can be performed to adjust the machine to maintain tighter tolerances, such as adjusting the tool offset to leave a little excess inventory, allowing the tool to machine the workpiece, measuring the work done by the tool, and so on. This applies especially to newly developed products.
